MARK GROUP INTERSECTION

Post by f_rossi » Wed Oct 27, 2010 2:02 am

I HAD A PROBLEM WITH MARK GROUP INTERSECTION.
1) I CREATE IN A PLANAR GROUP A NEW UCS.
2) I ADD WITH SCUCSLIST THIS NEW UCS TO THE LIST.
3) I SELECT IN SCMARK THE PLANE REFERRED TO MY NEW UCS AND OBVIOUSLY THE PLANE TO INTERSECT.
4)IF YOU CLICK OK, YOU WON'T GET ANY RESULT.
IF YOU SAVE AND REPEAT THE STEPS YOU'LL GET YOUR INTERSECTION.
IT IS NORMAL OR IT'S UNDER DEVELOPEMENT.
THANKS

Hi Francesco,

the behaviour you see is intended and correct. The planar group / UCS definitions are stored in the database, and taken from the database when a Group Intersection is executed. Using the catabase records is necessary to ensure data consistency and integrity. Therefore, a UCS, even of the open file, is not taken into account unless it has been stored, which happens when you save the file.
